    La Costa Resort & Spa

    August 28th, 2006

    ashley & jason.

Yesterday’s wedding at the La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad was so beautiful and so much fun! Kristin Garuba of Pink Papaya Creative Events made sure that the day went without a hitch.

A big thank you to my good friend, Sara France, for lending her creative talents and shooting with me!

Hi Juliet! These pictures are amazing. What a gorgeous couple! I am sure that they feel the pictures are breathtaking; and that you did an amazing job of capturing their special moments.

      With Much Admiration,

      Jeanne

this is a great wedding! I really like the picture with all the heads of the bridal party!

Do I have to pick a favorite? Because I love to many of them!! The close up of the bride in her veil, the two little girls, the expression of the little boy (too cute) and the two of them in the gardens where he is dipping her a bit. Lovely photographs, your bride must be thrilled with them, as all of the photographs are just great.

      Michelle :-)

    fun with film

    August 24th, 2006

At most every wedding I like to pull out my Holga or my vintage swinglens to shoot a roll of film. It makes me so sad that two of my favorite films are already discontinued. I am going to keep trying to incorporate a little bit of film at each wedding, but its just getting harder and harder!

Here is a shot from the swinglens of Jennifer and Michael coming down the aisle as husband and wife. I love this camera because you can see them as well as all of their guests!

I also recently got back the roll I cross-processed from Elaine and Riva’s wedding. I just LOVE this image! You can see me in there with them!!

Love those shots, great work. I have a swinglens pano camera that has been in my bag for a few years that I never shot until a few weeks ago. It is hard to put down the digital and shoot a few rolls, but once you get those rolls back it is all worth it!

      Best Regards,
      Mark

      Ron

    DWF U

    August 15th, 2006

Having my sister, Joy, on my team has been such a great experience! Its been really fun doing the DWF U workshop with her this week, and I can’t wait to integrate her into my business even more. She is a good shooter, (and shoots at all my Bay Area weddings) but I think having her help on the business end, too, is going to be a real gift!

Here are some shots she took during today’s workshop with Cliff Mautner while I was in the hotel rooom working. I just love her eye.

Hey, I miss you! These are great shots! I guess it runs in the family. I didn’t get a shot of the all camp thing this year…you were sorely missed.

Is there anything cuter than you and sister?! I think not. You both are so great!
