Shooting Elizabeth & Mark’s wedding was particularly fun for me because I got to travel to Louisiana and spend a little time in New Orleans! During my time there I learned about some interested Southern wedding traditions such as the cake pull and dancing the Second Line as well as learning on the fly how to deal with Louisiana humidity! What an amazing weekend!!
Some of their wonderful vendors:
Ceremony: St. Joseph Abbey
Reception: Annadele’s Plantation
Cake: Binder’s Bakery
Make-up: About Face
What a difference a year makes! I shot baby Alden as a newborn, 6 months and now he is a year old. Look at the photo of him in the alligator skull as a newborn and now! So cute!!
I had a really nice time hanging out with Alden’s Mom & Dad and big brother Jack just shooting them doing all of their favorite things together – my favorite kind of portrait session!
This past weekend was so much fun for me because I got to meet Alice, the darling daughter of Kate & JP who’s gorgeous Mendocino wedding I shot in 2012. We met over at the Botanical Gardens in San Francisco and just tooled around at Alice Speed to get fun informal portraits. I love them!!
