I spent a week in Los Angeles just before Thanksgiving and was able to photograph this cute family again! You might remember them from last year’s shoot in Tongva Park shoot in Santa Monica. This year, we met at the lovely UCLA Botanical Gardens. I love these because the first time I photographed Kyle & Natalie was for their engagement shoot at the Getty Center way back in 2009, and now they have this adorable family. Its so fun to watch the girls grow up!!
I photographed this family a few years back when they were just a family of four. When I met up with them a few weeks ago in Sunnyvale, California, they had grown to a happy family of six! We started at their new house to photograph the kids playing together with their trains – currently their favorite thing to do together – and then headed to Hidden Villa for outdoor shots. They are the cutest family, and it was really hard cutting it down to just these few favorites to share:

Danielle and Allen dated years ago when they were just in high school, but they parted ways when they graduated and life had bigger plans for them. Years later, they were reunited and realized that the spark had never left between them. I just adore love stories like this.
Danielle and Allen had a very intimate wedding in the cool art deco Penthouse of the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. Despite its small size, there was no lack of love given to every detail. The day started on a high note with the Blue Angles soaring overhead! The party moved from the Penthouse at the top of the Fairmont down to the Tonga – all the way at the bottom…but not before the sky was filled with surprise fireworks off in the distance!
Check out a few of my very favorites from the day:
