James and Karen were such a blast to work with. Here’s a quick look at their engagement shoot that we did at Terranea Resort back in June. They weren’t afraid to jump in the water and get great shots in the waves!
James and Karen found us through some of our favorite clients, Patricia and Edward, when we shot their wedding!
This couple captured my heart immediately because of their shared obsession with their adorable dog Cookie. While Cookie was not able to attend the wedding, he was well represented in spirit as he was central to the wedding theme, as you can see below.
Karen wore three different gowns on her wedding day — how many girls can say that?! Her first wedding gown was an incredible swirl of tulle, while her going away gown was much more sleek! In between Karen changed into an amazing red hanbok for the traditional Korean tea ceremony, where the family threw dates & walnuts into a cloth to represent how many children the couple would have…I think they are going to have a LOT.
The wedding was hosted at the gorgeous Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles. I loved the purple accents, and of course Cookie’s addition to the decor. It was all made possible with the help of the lovely Carolyn Chen of The Special Day, one of my favorite wedding planners.
If you are looking for some fabulous vendors in the Los Angeles area, check these companies out. I was so impressed with all of the details.
