The Original Pantry, Downtown Los Angeles

A few weeks ago, Chris Jaros, owner of The Zoo FX, hired me to shoot The Original Pantry in downtown Los Angeles so they could have fresh photography for the brand new website The Zoo FX is creating for them.

I have ALWAYS loved The Pantry, so the best part for me was that the shoot came with BREAKFAST!!!

Back in August, Chris Jaros, owner of The Zoo FX, hired me to photograph and collaborate on creative concepts for the new website of Marc Allison Jeans.

This past Friday, I was asked to photograph while Julie Benz & Jamie Murray (of the TV show Dexter fame) toured the jean wash house and were fitted for their own custom pairs of Marc Allison jeans. It was really cool learning how jeans are made!

Claremont Resort & Spa

I LOOOVE the spa at the Claremont Resort & Spa, so when they offered me a trade – photos for spa services – I jumped at the chance. Yesterday I took my sister and mom there to have a Spa Day to celebrate my mother’s birthday! Happy Birthday, Mom!!!

Today I photographed the child neurologist, Dr. Shields, at UCLA. He was being interviewed about treatments for Infantile Spasms, and I was the still photographer on the set. I got to sit in on the whole interview and listen, and it was quite interesting.

On Tuesday, The Zoo FX produced three TV commercials for the L.A. Department of Children & Family Services which feature three different families who have each fostered a child. In the commercials, each of these children has just graduated from high school due to the love and support given to them by their foster parents.

I was hired to shoot images of the three families that will be used on billboards all around Los Angeles. It was really fun being on a production set again. I used to work in the film industry, so being with the crew really brought back some good memories!

This past Thursday I had an interesting job… nothing like a wedding or a family portrait at ALL. Last year, I shot the wedding of Andy & Nancy. Andy just happens to produce the LA Auto Show each year and asked me to come photograph a day’s worth of events.

I had a really good time…it was interesting being in a totally different world than my own!
