Julie & Ohki met in New York City, so when I told them that Joy and I would be here for PPE, we all decided that it would be the perfect time to get together and shoot their engagement portriats. Today we shot in Columbus Circle and around the Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir at Central Park. Man I love shooting in this city!

We had fun with you today, Juli & Ohki…I’m really looking forward to your wedding at Langham in Pasadena next year, and THANK YOU for the cookies!!!

On a fun sidenote, I was super flattered that Ira Lippke asked me to stay a few extra days so I can second shoot with him at a wedding at the Plaza on Saturday!

On ANOTHER fun sidenote, I used Kevin Kubota’s super actions to spice up a lot of these photos and I will be demonstrating his awesome dashboard tomorrow at 10:30 at the Kubota Imaging Tools Booth on the PPE tradeshow floor!

The hippo shot is darling…and the low angle bw walking into the sq….so nice. Love seeing what you’re up to.

I’m crazy about the hippos too. The texture of the background on each image seems to fit this couple perfectly and tell a little more about them.
