Rancho Las Lomas Wedding

Back in October, Joy and I photographed Karen’s & Jack’s engagement shoot in New York. We all had so much fun together that I asked Joy to come shoot their wedding with me, too. And their wedding was perfect! First of all, it was at the dreamy Rancho Las Lomas where you are greeted by WHITE TIGERS as you drive in! Its so cute there… all Spanish tiles and lush trees.

I loved the purple & yellow palette that Karen chose for her wedding colors, and Inviting Occasion did a beautiful job on the flowers.

24 Carrots Catering was there to coordinate and feed all of us. Man, do they really know how to take care of their clients.

I sent Joy to shoot the wildlife as I photographed Karen getting ready. Can you believe these shots??

Karen & Jack wanted to take advantage of all the Rancho Las Lomas had to offer, so we did all the fun portrait stuff before the ceremony. (Something I highly recommend to all of my clients.) I stole this shot through the window while Joy was shooting them from outside.

Karen was so happy to discover that this swing was yellow… just like her colors.

This is one of my favorites moments between Karen’s Mom & Dad just seconds after Karen’s Dad has walked her down the aisle.

There was a lot of hugging that day. I remember the moment before Karen first saw Jack she was jumping up and down in place because she was soooo excited to be marrying him.
