    Kohl Mansion, Burlingame

I kicked off the New Year right away with a wedding within the first five days! Living in California, I don’t see too much rain at my weddings, so when my Blackberry stated 100% chance of rain, I thought it would be a great opportunity to get some shots of my couple under an umbrella. I abandoned the plain black ones I had brought with me when I saw the best man, Phil, arriving with his amazing black and white checkered one!

When I shoot in the Bay Area, my second shooter is my sister, Joy. She is so fun to be around and makes my day that much better. We had never shot at the Kohl Mansion before, and we absolutely LOVED it. If you are planning a wedding there, please hire me! I want to shoot there again! Jackie’s flowers were STUNNING and were created by Carol Antraccoli of An Added Touch of Flowers.

I am still in the Bay Area and will be driving back to LA (finally!) tomorrow… so I’ll put together a slideshow this week. For now a few favs!!
