Today my four-year old niece, Penelope, and I spent the day in the kitchen baking. We put together another snowman cake and made a chocolate meringue pie! Who knew I had it in me??
Of course, we had to get a festive shot together…

My step-mother gushed over the Snowman cake in the William Sonoma catalog, and since I am supposed to bring dessert for Christmas Eve, I decided this would be the perfect thing! I’m going to give her the tin you bake him in as a gift.
